I am using Multinode installation of FAST ESP 5.3 for two hosts and at the step to test the connection for the first host 'host1', it went sucessful at 100%. But when I test the connection for the second host 'host2', I got the following error.

--MESSAGE-- Testing if the host "host2" has Java installed
--WARNING-- The JAVA_HOME environment variable is not defined on 'host2'.
--ERROR---- Could not resolve java installation directory on host 'host2'

I have confirmed that JAVA_HOME variable is defined on 'host2' but I still get the error above.

Could anyone please direct me of how to fix this error?

    Thanks in advance!!

    find file: ~/.bashrc

    insert there: export JAVA_HOME=/opt/jdk1.6.0.14/jre

the installer seems to be doing this in the background:

from machine where you run the installer...

    ssh <remote_host> env

the above will dump the current env for the fastusr on the remote machine. you can you this to verify.
